1- Feasability study

Our engineers carry out the energy, electrical and mechanical studies for each project. Financial simulations are performed to validate the economic relevance of the case.

2- Routing of the MIDITOP® rails

The fully-intergrated BIPV MIDITOP® PRIMA system is pre-assembled and carried over on the worksite. The rails are handled by groups of 6 with our specifically designed lifting bar. They are then handled by crane, providing both speed, security and precision during the assembly. If the worksite does not allow it, we can also provide a conventional assembly without lifting bar.

3- Flanging

The flanging of the BIVP system is done with galvanized steel brackets which adapt themselves to any type of steel profiles IPE, ZED, MULTIBEAM, SIGMA, glued laminated wood....

4- MIDITOP® rails fitment

Once the rails are set up on the roof and if the rampant is over 14 m, a splicing can be done to assembly the rails end to end. This splicing keeps the rail rigid, enables the dilation and ensures the continuity of the draining.

5- Installation of the modules

Once the rails are set up on the roof, modules can be laid. Their attachment is assured thanks to a screwed and bolted beading system made of aluminium. EPDM seals provide transverse and longitudinal sealing. Draw latches are placed lastly to maintain the distance between the modules and the compression of the seal.

6- Anti-rodents grids

Anti-rodents grids are placed at the bottom of the generator to prevent birds and rodents to enter the system. Nevertheless they  maintain an excellent passive ventilation system. 7 colors available.

7- Faitières et rives

The ridge tiles permit a single or double ventilation of the generator. The line edges of border provide the aesthetic finishes of the sides of the rampant. 7 colors are available.

8- Wiring

The wiring is done by column, it is either suspended on a cable tray or on a gripple hanger. Particular attention is given to the identification of cables for a better maintenance.

9- Condensate recovery sheets

Eventually, after the wiring operation, condensate recovery sheets are placed. They allow both to drain off the water and to create a 16 cm tunnel for natural ventilation below the modules. They also act as mechanical protection against falling.

10- Inverter, technical room, equipment...

A technical room is furnished to install the inverters and the low voltage distribution panel. This room can be placed on the footbridge. In this specific case, safety equipments are added such as a caged ladder.
